2. The D & R notations are in a column headed “D or R”
3. The ship names are in a column headed “Whither”
4. The h notations are in a column headed “Dead Mens Cloaths”, but probably refer to the pay period “h” in the Musters.
5. The abbreviation Mou or Moun may be for “Monsieur”
6. The superscript after Mou or Moun may stand for “r” or  “er”. The same symbol occurs after the name “Pet” on the second line.
7. “Fryer” may be a priest (compare “Captaine” and “Doctor”).
