Pecton

Current situation of my research

  • My research on Louis Pecton started in with those of Francis LeBaron. Since this date, I did not find any trace of Pecton or Picton.

  • On June 22, 2005, by carrying out research with the Departmental records of Bordeaux, I thought during a few seconds of discovering for the first time a person bearing the name of Pecton (or Picton). But after several detailed reading, I note that the name is not Pecton or Picton, but PICHON.

    • Indeed, confusion is possible between
      Pichon and Pecton.

    • Since June 2005, I widened my research to
      Louis Pichon
Surgeon in Bordeaux (or the area) about 1670-1690
Deceased about 1692 in Bordeaux (or the area)

  • Starting January 2008, I am looking for any link between Francis LeBaron and Captain Louis de Harismendy. Why ?

    • A french slang expression for "Captain Louis de Harismendy" could be "Pitaine Louis".

    • "Pitaine Louis" is not far from "Pecton Louis"
